Most of our clients stay in the home. We section off the work area, protect floors and nearby spaces from dust, and do our best to leave things reasonably functional at the end of each day. It’s not comfortable, but it’s manageable. Having a microwave and coffee maker set up somewhere else in the house helps.

Do we need to buy appliances before the remodel starts?

If you’re replacing appliances, yes. We need the exact specs to plan cabinet openings and venting correctly. Ordering appliances after cabinets are in is how you end up with a range that’s a half inch too wide or a fridge that won’t open fully.
